Only takes a few to be on holiday or sick and nights struggle for enough staff to run the machines
You have spare staff in case people go sick?

What do you think happens in delivery? Endless amount of staff to cover for every eventuality :nana

Delivery these days is being shoved from one trainwreck to another but now because of the overtime ban the wrecks are piling up :cuppa
Don,t worry mate mc,s are run in exact same way all done on a wing an a prayer.sp lets on he know,s everything lol.
You can't just shove any person onto a machine. They have to have done the training course first. Then you've got the problem of sometimes the managers of other work areas won't release any mech trained staff if they are already short on staff.

We've not had any spare staff for a few years now, if we did, we wouldn't have casuals/agency in very shift, every day

Anyone else being hit with a PRODUCTIVITY CHALLENGE? first class mail only every Tuesday for 8 weeks beginning 13th of January. I've been told that it's nationwide but I smell a rat. Most of the office moved to a Tuesday off without consultation, whilst the rest of us have to cover two dutys doing all parcels, packets and first class mail, then on the Wednesday getting hit with two days mail and d2d's.
What's the CWU doing about it?
LMFAO They sent a second class letter to the delivery office with the heading Sweet F ALL , with a picture of mugs with pound sign logos underneath.

Return the favour by not giving the CWU a penny.
