Quick question: SD 1pm

The daily "Dashboard" data on the PDA has been recently updated to now showing SD's as "failed" if they are not delivered by 1pm, or possibly 1:15pm, as I one I delivered yesterday at 1;25pm which showed as a failure today, even though our DO is in an area where we can officially deliver up to 1:30pm anyway. Meanwhile the manager is telling us not to worry about delivering SD's by 1:30pm!

All our SDs going out for their automatic redelivery when attempted after 1PM (which is an expired guarantee after the first attempt) show up as delivered late. My score that I care ever so deeply about is tanking.

Possibly the same issue showing here, I had two to redeliver yesterday, still no-one in but when I selected no answer it said next delivery day tomorrow rather than the message saying final attempt (or whatever it says can't remember) so the PDA treat them as if they were both day one.

The SD's that are branded as not one-o'clockers are also showing up as failures if not delivered by 1pm according to a colleague in an adjacent office. Not had one myself for a long time, don't think the product can be bought over the counter at PO's, just certain companies who have contracts with RM.

Maybe it’s my age but why was SD’s time pushed out to 1.30pm in the first place and then put back to 1pm again recently?

First I've heard of that don't think it happened, is it area specific?

Must have been because it was an absolute farce as a lot of people didn’t even know it had been changed at all when we went back to 1pm.

I think it was during the run upto Xmas and shortly after as our office was a shambles and failing walks bigtime.

Fairly certain it was after we all moved our start times back by up to an hour a day, as we were getting to customers up to an hour later, baffling why it's now been moved back to 1pm and nobody seems to have been informed until failures started appearing on the Doorstep app.

No idea what happened to the non 1pm Specials as there's no reference to them on the Royal Mail website and I've never seen any recently.
