Take you full allocation of footwear 2 pairs, flog them on ebay as walking shoes/trainers, you'll get between 20 & 40 quid, put the rest to it & treat yourself to a nice pair of Merrell's like slippers :nana
You can only order 1 pair every six months
If you've hit your uniform allocation, don't bother getting a manager to order any extra, it'll get rejected. Doesn't matter what level of manager at an office, if you've hit your allocation the order will be rejected.
Incorrect, our manager can order footwear for people over allocation, when he places the order he gets a prompt to confirm he's inspected the worn shoes and is then able to put the order through, you'll probably find the real reason is some managers just can't be arsed so say they can't do it.

You lucky then. Even our mail centre manger can't get anything ordered over someone's allocation, it gets rejected.

Happened to me awhile back. Refused to go out walking until a new pair of shoes arrived. Turned up next day. :left:

Yeah my manager is one of those who just can't be arsed to do anything. Even answering a text message or email is too much effort. Sometimes he says he will sort something out then doesn't bother. Usually I end up asking his manager or HR and that normally gets his arse moving. If it doesn't affect their bonuses they really won't bother their backsides

Regarding your question Woody. I ordered the Banderas on my first order then I've just ordered the cushionflex trainers this time, not received them yet. Figure a pair of each makes more sense. Mix and match. Especially as I am a reserve and do a mixture of mail delivery on foot and dpr driving. I've had no discomfort from the Banderas when doing mail but don't like them so much if I'm doing LATs and dpr as they are a bit bulky round the front end and twice I've fallen in the dark when they catch on something and send me flying headfirst down someones garden path. Just waiting now for the video doorbell footage to go viral of me lying in a crumpled heap moaning in agony. Roll on the light nights so I don't keep getting crippled by people leaving junk lying around. While I'm having a general moan.......a customer recently berated me for popping a parcel in the unlocked porch without waiting for an answer. The next one moaned at me for knocking instead of just putting it in the porch. You can't win with these miserable wretches.
