It's on here somewhere but I can't find it.
Many years ago there was a Courier article about misdeliveries.
What they suggested was to go through the frame before tying up checking each letter to make sure you had not miss-prepped any.

Well yes when we used pigeon boxes as frames, but rm2000 were the cure all for that

That's why I don't complain about my duty being mis-prepped anymore. I know management will take that complaint and repackage it for consumption upstairs as 'OPG #22,720 says nuking the RM2000 frames from orbit is a great idea'.

Why is there a 1million cost to misdeliveries? People dont get compensation if their mail is mis delivered?

They’re talking about parcels… they don’t give a stuff about misdelivered letters.
