No. Same as if you were day off that week, you don't get another day off instead. Very unfair but that's Royal Mail.1560loopsayear wrote: ↑11 Apr 2023, 13:23If you have annual leave booked and the 'Saturday' becomes a non-service day do you get credited the hours...i.e like a Bank Holiday?

No. Its not treated as a bank holiday, its a bit like a snow day, if you are on leave you won't get it back if RM cancel local deliveries.1560loopsayear wrote: ↑11 Apr 2023, 13:23If you have annual leave booked and the 'Saturday' becomes a non-service day do you get credited the hours...i.e like a Bank Holiday?

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I still find it very strange that they never gave the actual coronation day off
Quite a few of the public were surprised when I said we'd be working on Saturday ..."But it's the Coronation Day"!
I just replied, "Well that's what happens when you're run by a bunch of Greedy Money Grabbing Bastards"! Nobody disagreed.

Not my queen.
I couldn't give a flying.

It makes no sense whatsoever. Especially as we are Royal Mail.Dorset Plodder wrote: ↑05 May 2023, 18:03I still find it very strange that they never gave the actual coronation day off![]()
