Can someone just confirm for me that Leisure lakes will definitley accept the Halfords voucher?
Can i just turn up at one of there shops with the voucher and get a bike upto £500 in value? Does this include bikes in the sale? Or will they charge full RRP?
Thanks

Leisure Lakes is where i got my first bike off C2W, but that was about 3 years ago,
just ring 'em up and ask to make sure.

Leisure Lakes definately accept the Halfords voucher , I asked them yesterday .
Unfortunately for me , they didn't stock the bike I wanted .

I'm wondering if any bike shop which participates in a 'Cycle Scheme' is able to accept the Halfords voucher ........ why should they have the sole right to it , when it is a goverment driven scheme ? If Leisure Lakes are able to redeem it , why not others too ?

I have found an independant shop that is in a Cycle Scheme that has what I want , but they are unsure as to whether or not they can accept the voucher /letter of collection .... can any upload a copy so that I can show it to them ?

any shop who chooses to can accept the Halfords voucher
however Halfords administer that scheme(there are more than one) and charge a %
£50 from a £500 LOC
so a shop needs to get its profit from £450 of a £500 sale

See here

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165534" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

if you apply for C2W you get a voucher emailed to you for £100 off
so the comp is £499

edit. here you go

Image

however I dont know if each has a unique barcode
everyone I know who has done C2W recently hs got this voucher
Now retailing at £499.99 so would one be able to get it for 399.99 with the voucher?

well you would have to ask Halfords
they may not be issuing the voucher now and that will be void
if you do its a bargain

i just ordered it, collect it in a couple of hours,
i'd already asked for £500 with the intention of using the £100 off voucher, i just asked if i could still use it and buy £100 worth of accessories to make it up and it was fine, not sure if i'd have actually spent that much in the 1st,
but got kitted out with mud-guards, lights, helmet, pump, decent lock and 12 months service they do all for the £500, had to cough up 94p.
just need some new legs now!

Is this C2W LoC/voucher thing, made exclusively to Halfords, as I have some one who said they would accept the LoC or whatever it is, but only if it's not made specifically to Halfords?

Many thanks.

Mog.
