Last year a RM van accident on Dec. 19 and no pay over Christmas because I was just short of a years' service. Christmas payday take-home pay plus tips (£0) was -£245. Not joking.

This year F/T take-home pay unaffected by unexpected deductions plus £0 tips.

So I feel quite wealthy compared to last year.

P.S. As a reserve I have had a few people shout through their closed doors "Oi! Paul/John/Dave - hang on a mo!" They open the door and see muggins here followed by "Oh! - where's Paul/John/Dave this week?" while discreetly hiding the card or present on the inside window sill or behind the wall....

Fine. Let Me ease Yourembarrassment and give em to Me :nana
It does not work like that... The money will be given to him and he has to say thank you even though he does not really want to be in the situation...

I also get embarrassed by someone giving me money for doing my job when I already get a decent wage...

'Thanks and have a good Xmas' and scurries away with mimimal eye contact - do not need their money...

I know how he feels
10 Christmas' on 1 walk & a combined total of over 2000 quid
20 bottles of wine 50 boxes/tins chocolates
10 cases of beer
Revision comes in & my walk gets picked by someone with 8 months seniority
While me with nearly 15 years in gets the 2nd to last pick
On the brightside I have a fiver so far :nana
