Just give us mon -fri for at last a work life balance after all these years , or a proper pay off.
I know some staff who are banging on the door about going Monday to Friday as their job basically disappears on a Saturday. They have a strong argument I’d say.

We only have 2 options for DM26 and RM/CWU appears to be pushing us towards the 2 in 5.

Obviously we would get more Saturdays off going for 2 in 5, but if they need less staff in on a Saturday then surely we would have more Saturdays off anyway?? :hmmmm
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

I can safely say that whenever DM26 lands at ours we will have zero people staying indoors sorting door to doors etc. What has been happening in nearby offices is some going out 2 in a van and some 1 in a van, which seems totally unfair for a variety of reasons. Firstly, workload will be greatly reduced with 2 people in a van, plus also barring the last few months of the year you don't need as many staff in on a Saturday, which will cause resentment if staff are made to work it when it's not really needed.

We started kthis horror show last Monday, there were half a dozen people putting in D2Ds, which took about an hour, so they were twiddling their thumbs for the rest of the time, although some were sent out to help those that were struggling, which is a sign of failure surely.? Somebody explain how this can possibly work please.

Yeah, I've heard that too. Not enough indoor work so staff sitting idle or given the day off. Then others bring back tracked as they had too much to do. Top class management that everyone saw coming a mile off.
