Re: Dehydration
Twice doing this job I've had a bad headache and pushed through only to start feeling dizzy, sick and then start throwing up. I was thinking wtf is wrong I'm drinking so much water as it is. Reality is you need a crazy amount of water in this heat. Probably 2 - 3 litres.

Much more than that. You should be getting about a litre per hour down you while out on delivery.OikOik wrote: ↑26 May 2026, 13:17Twice doing this job I've had a bad headache and pushed through only to start feeling dizzy, sick and then start throwing up. Re: Dehydration
Problem is how do you carry 5 litres of water with you, in a van it becomes too warm to drink after a few hours and you simply don't have the room on a HCT duty?sindba wrote: ↑26 May 2026, 17:12Much more than that. Re: Dehydration
But camels don't store water in their humps. They have fat stores that they use to gradually break down into fluids.Maybe that's what some of the big lads do on delivery, eat loads the night before and come back off delivery 2 dress sizes smaller!
