Coaching notes on pda

Keep getting texts from management asking us to check it, just ignore them.

Only our latest lino has ever bothered to write notes on the pda. Pretty sure if I farted in the wrong direction there would be a note on my pda about it the next day!

COMs have to write so many ‘coaching notes’ to staff members daily to get a tick on their scorecard, which is attached to their bonus payment.
Nothing within my performance app has been agreed with union so is best to not even open it, as this is also a tick on COMs scorecard
Don’t know whatever happened to having a face to face conversation

I never even look at “my dashboard” on PDA. Union told us it’s optional, so I don’t bother.

It's been an 'us and them' culture at RM for as long as I can remember. The s**t rolls downhill and the hierarchy within the business has been the same for decades.

As a delivery OPG you must remember that we are bottom of the pile and have been for about 15 years now.

I keep getting coaching notes which suggest that I check my app regularly but nobody has ever asked me if I do ever check the app, so they've no idea if I'm reading the notes or not. It really seems like tick box exercise so they can just show their management they are posting notes.

No, I'm pretty sure they know whether you are opening up the MyPerformance Tile in the PDA.
I have started to open it once a week after telling them to stick it regularly before that, and manager did make comment when passing me that opening it once a week will have to do if that's all you can manage...
Really, there is nothing there that I am interested in.

The definitely can see who opens the app and how many times. They get a report with all the staff listed and how many read receipts.

Our workplace coach has had stickers made at his own expense asking for customers to submit a review, he attaches these to every tracked parcel he delivers, our manager thinks it's brilliant & can not understand why we are all not doing this

The workplace coach , begging customers for reviews lol. Dont he/she realise they are getting near £50 a week for weeks of doing nothing for it? How much is this costing across the uk. Regarding coaching notes, my partner got one for forgetting to scan in , in the morning. Yet , even though he has plenty of 9/10 10/10 s , they cant even put who it was etc on the PDA. But are quick to put a long note about minor stuff.
