Our revision comes in, in a few weeks. We’re being moved to 4.5 hour delivery spans. God knows how we’ll do when the new delivery model comes in. 5.5, 6, 6.5 hours? What happens to the 6 hour per day part timers? Little twiddling on the computer perhaps, don’t worry, this 6 .5 hour delivery is exactly the same as it was, but the computer now says it takes 4.5 hours. Why do you keep cutting off? From what i have seen in my Do , The new duty structures , there are 3 different options . But 2 off the duty structures you have a later start time , Which will mean a later finish time also. and also a longer duty span . i cant remeber exactly, but if my office went for the one in six duty plan . which is what we currently do. The start time remain about the same. i think on monday and tuesday we actually start earlier than present. i think its a 7.15 am start . But from what i can remember the other 2 duty structures has the office starting at 8.30. I really hope we keep the 1 in 6 The other duty structures look terrible . just to get an extra day off

They always seem to go about making the most complex/convoluted way about things.

Guarantee these changes will take place in the autumn just as things are ramping up. They never learn.

Will be working my hours, taking my breaks and let it all come crashing down. Let the box tickers sort out the consequences.

Do different hours on different days but same starting times every day , Wednesday/ Thursday longest days but only by half hour.

Going by the rota on the other thread Monday to Friday will be 8.28hrs with 7hrs for Saturday for a 9 day fortnight, seems like a long day to me.

Am I right in thinking the whole office has to change to whatever rota is voted in or is this for the pilot offices?

This sounds like a complete mess

These plans, if one can call them that, will result in an operation so completely scattershot that it is begging DK and the board to cut through the crap by edict sooner or later.

Yet again I am forced to ponder whether the leadership of this company has ever heard the phrase "keep it simple, stupid" or if this is another Art of the Deal play to demand the moon and the stars up front before finally getting that free cheeseburger they wanted all along.
