Who cares? If it's cannabis could be for someones sick mother who has cancer. We deliver alcohol which is 10x worse if that at all.
i agree, i have known colleagues and manager confiscate stuff and rent police when it’s been for someone over 50 with severe chronic pain. if it was a teenager that could be causing long lasting brain damage and proven, but once someone is 50 odd and they just want some herbal pain relief can’t see the harm. guess issue is is it going to be end up in the hands of teenagers.
i guess international shipments have dogs checking? but for parcels sent in the uk is there any checking?

You shouldn’t be determining whether something is illegal by smell lol Perfectly legal items can smell like weed. You are a postie not a sniffer dog.

We were told ages ago to just sort it to whichever DO or MC covers where it's addressed to, even if it's blatantly obvious from the smell what's inside

You clearly weren't around when they provided us with sniff and scratch cards so we could determine what weed smelt like?

That said nobody seems to care about anything any more.
We had packets we used to keep in the fridge in the callers office because the smell was so overpowering.
A policeman once felt one of the packets and after deciding there was probably a grinder in there as well just handed it back. Wasn't interested.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
