Why not just buy up a few old bin lorries. Chuck the parcels in and then empty them out at the mail centre :whistle :whistle

You can unload 49 yorks in 15 minutes, less depending on the number of people involved.

Not sure how innovative this really is, does the customer really want their parcels in one big heap?

Why not look at bigger containers instead.

I have to ask: why is RM emphasizing their efficiency in unloading a wagon when we still have to handball items out of Yorks at the end of the delivery chain? Any savings achieved by unloading a lorry are negated by late arrivals, unachievable deliveries, lack of storage space, and many other issues that directly affect DOs.

Precisely..... the later we get out the less we deliver, simple really.
