What do we do when we have actual evidence that LMs are telling us to mark parcels as inaccesible because we don't have time to deliver them in our shift? Pretty sure reporting that to Royal Mail it will just be ignored.
Is the electric van running out of charge a good reason to mark as inaccesible or should the PDA have another option for the leccy vans?
"Delivery not attempted"

"Delivery not attempted"

"Delivery not attempted"
I would but that option is no longer in the drop down menu.....when I ask for help finding it I get told to do inaccesible
It's still there just checked,
Indoor - enquiry office - record not delivered item - scan it then select delivery not attempted
can I do that myself or would I need a manager to scan it??? I have genuinely asked a few times and everyone tells me to scan it as inacessible.

It is physically possible for you to do it no idea if you'll get a bollocking though

Not being funny so please don’t take this the wrong way but can I ask why you’re bothered?

Not saying it’s the case here but for some peculiar reason postmen seem to spend their whole time particularly interested in what other people are doing. It is a weird trait that some seem to have…… in fact I’d say it’s a bit creepy. Some in our office seem to spend their whole time (that’s spent indoors) watching what others are or aren’t doing & then when they can’t do that ( delivery time) they seem to assume they know what others are or aren’t doing. I don’t know whether they’re aware but it is in fact a form of intimidation & bullying to constantly watch, talk about & criticise work colleagues.

As I say that may not be the case here & you may have a legitimate reason to want to know the ins & outs of the situation you have commented on.
To touch on that, and again don't think it is related to the OP, but what you say is rampant through offices.
Some in ours simply can't function if they don't know/think that they've got the best gig going. It's a product of weak management and a job where you very quickly hit the top of the career ladder. I swear that if they make the job even worse than it is now and introduce crazy performance targets that some would sign up for it as long as they can keep the status quo. It's a bit of an elephant in the room in ours and I doubt we are alone.

I guess they could try that but they won't like the result. Thanks for the info.
