Wasn't there a remote island somewhere that practically all the staff left for better jobs nearby?

Could be here?

Although it's not just there. The company countrywide has seen high turnover due to voluntary redundancy, worsening conditions, decrease in pay gap, poor treatment and a 2 tier workforce. They always make out like there's no control over the above things when in reality it's all controllable. It's as stated many times a deliberate run down of service and company value to enable a sell off followed by asset stripping and splitting of the company leaving a profitable parcel business and a government ran postal service. Or maybe not, but it certainly looks like it
