That is fine if you can take the financial hit. Fill your boots. People who have milked the sick process over the years are primarily the reason we have lost that benefit though. Worth considering.

So how exactly do we get recognised as being in the exception bracket. I am currently on long term sick leave and might not be back by the date it is due to be booked and my place don't accept leave booked online

I asked my manager for my carry over days, three months notice, and said I’d submitted the request via the app and he said he would cancel it.
Is it possible for them to do that? To clarify, can a manager go into the app and edit your requests?

He'll just be declining your request, not editing it per se. But yes, requests put in via the app are still confirmed or denied by a manager, it's not an automated process

That’s what I thought. It was just the idea that he could delete my request that was curious.

Our DO is letting us book the carried over now instead of the last week of leave, presumably then they can carry that over and do the same next year (I had exactly a week carried over, conveniently)

Don’t you have any carry over to use by August 31st? It’s those days that seem to be being refused.comeracing wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 19:03I've used odd days the rest i have 28 hours or so I can use until April 2025 so it says on the app .

We once got told our carry overs is being taken off us because we're not using them, we countered that's because you won't let us book them !
