Keeps his chin warm
It was quite humid yesterday. So I imagine his chin might have got sweaty with that bit of cloth over it. Nice and cosy when he put it back on :nervous

you could try this for the glasses

I found it worked better with some frames than others though

FYI means for your information.
The information the guy was looking for was whether anyone had any spare Royal Mail masks.
It's a simple question.
And yet you've replied to me. When did I get under your skin?

FYI, facemasks, the kind everyone was wearing during lockdown have been reported in a pre-study to have had 0 effect in preventing the spread. And the handling of them increases contact and results in a negative net benefit. I'll post the white paper if I can find it.
Oh no, not this again !
Not what again? I was an advocate of facemasks. They have, at least the crap ones Joe Public has been using, been found to be completely useless. The poster could use that information to get a better mask if his health is at risk. At no point am I questioning his/her choice in wearing one.

I would love to read that paper you're talking about, but maybe this one can explain things in the meantime, just FYI.

https://www.newscientist.com/article/23 ... -covid-19/

Says masks and other measures unequivocally helped to slow down the spread of covid 19.

I'm really not that invested or judgemental, but I'll find the paper if you are genuinely interested and not just looking for friction.

One of these would be more effective than just a cloth mask.'
