Union involvement has to mean member involvement otherwise it's no better than no involvement.

That means members have to front up and not sit there bitching on the sidelines.

The first thing an office should do is set up a revision group using a decent mix of full-time and part-time, duty holders and reserves.

Decisions affecting the whole office should be made by the office not the rep.

We had one postman who had done every walk in the office and he was old school who did everything the proper way.
