You get more wet from sweat than the rain in that new red 'softshell'. How it made it past testing I don't know... I figured it out in less than an hour. Mustve been designed by a desk jockey. Utter garbage
I agree, layering the old fleece and red cagoule is the best combo for breathability, wind proofing and light rain

Would something like this be any good as an alternative to an actual RM one,that danger red colour looks similar to me will more than likely be more water resistant anyway
