My COM looked completely embarrassed when he announced this on the shop floor this morning. He likes to hide in his office each morning and pretend that the mountain of mail that idles the time away sat in our frames undelivered is a mirage. He certainly doesn't want to spend precious time with us lot firing questions at him about how the present situation came to pass and the rationale behind the decisions from above that he's tasked to implement. He was as happy as Larry when WTLL was quietly dropped when Covid was invented. Being accountable is certainly not something that he regards as being part of his job description.

team my arse and ive never heard so much shite in my life and i reckon somebodys on a shite load of money to come up with this and do they think this is going to change the moral in offices and posties feelings about the company , will i be getting my leave back you took off me ? , are you going to fill the 15 vacancies in the office ? , are you going to make deliverys manageable ? , im guessing NO . , but there is one thing for certain that i will be getting the 30 hours you owe me in summer .

By the time I get in the office(26hr P/T) half the office is gone(many 2 paired F/T staff etc). You will never catch the whole office as folk starting at various times and every man for themselves fighting to get out early(counter productive these days but that's for another day), 1-2-1's it is then.....
