One assumes he had the conversation with his manager before leaving the office.
If he was told at that point that no extended would be paid, why were they still out at 4.30?

If they hadn't had the conversation then the overtime was unauthorised.
Imagine turning up to work 2 hours early because you fancy a bit of extra docket.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Well they shouldn't be shopping using the RM van,it only takes an accident and your fxxkt, a bit like both partners in a van share only one should drive , and I know some will say , but we've always done it , it won't wash when something happens
