Two thirds of our parcels are delivered on foot, is that really the case as we seem to deliver a massive amount using vans? Surely we're not counting something which fits though a letterbox as a parcel?

Its very easy to tweak the stats or just blatantly lie with stuff like this.

The most shocking thing of all is when everyone gets back slightly early and each van gets sent back out with one or two parcels, to the same area, often the SAME ROAD. Its quite amusing/embarrassing seeing the procession of filthy, dented red vans, sometimes as many as 10-20!

Plus, isn’t there a massive elephant of a contradiction here? They’re bragging about how we deliver two thirds of parcels on foot, whilst in the process of taking the majority of those parcels off walking posties and giving them to parcel drivers?!

Again, I play the game. Of course, if I’m back very early (say 30+ minutes) I will gladly go back out, I’ve only ever finished that early I think twice.

But if it’s something ridiculous like 10 mins early, given we are in a very congested town I simply say I need the toilet first. By the time I’ve finished my business time is up.

Obviously indoor work is completely different, I’ll do whatever I am told to. But outdoors there has to be some common sense.

I good chunk of them will technically be large letters, even though they get processed as packets
