New revision kicks in tomorrow my frame is all over the place so looks like I’ll have to redesign it.
Why would you redesign it? Your sequenced mail should come as management have designed your frame, if it's a balls up let management sort it :Very Happy
Been told I can change it but only if I’m not walking past houses with my trolley :hmmmm they say if I am they won’t change it. Which is fine as I can tie the frame up as I like but I’m on leave next week then it will get interesting.
If you redesign the delivery fitting dont be suprised if management blame you for any issues afterwards. Just let them do what they're paid for and let them take responsibility and deal with the consequences

Friday night was quiet, no big increase in letters and flowers that you'd normally expect for the last posting day before Valentines Day

If it arrived at MCs on Sundays then a good chunk might have failed as I don't believe that Sunday shifts would have the capacity to process it all

Very windy, so windy it blew my hat off. Supposed to be worse on Friday  Driving back to the office U2's 'With Or Without You' was on the radio - there's a line in it that could be Royal Mail's motto: 'You give it all but I want more'. :arrrghhh

Just been reading for some parts of the south, the amber weather warning for strong winds might get upgraded to a red warning. What's RM's policy on if we decide to not head into work if we decide it's going to be too dangerous?

It seems to be RMs policy for ANY Adverse weather ..... to simply announce it in the morning and just like Hill Street Blues' say ...... "Be Careful Out There"! :cool

After that it's your fault if you have any kind of accident ..... because you've been warned.:cuppa

Yesterday I was warm and dry.
Today I was cold and wet.
I preferred yesterday.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Monday: New way of working 7am start & all d2ds put in, told to take everything out & work to time, got out for 10:45 did all the tracked & 3 loops took 9 loops back

Tuesday - Got out for 10 after chucking 9 loops back in with d2ds (nightmare) told to take everything out & work to time, managed 6 loops of double mail & tracked, brought back 6 loops (3 double mail)

Wednesday - chucked back 3 loops of double mail & 3 loops single mail plus d2ds, got out for 10:30ish, lino agreed to take the 2 shortest loops of us, take everything out & work to time, managed 8 loops & tracked brought back 2 loops of mail to chuck back in tomorrow.

Cleared it Thursday - Off today so it most probably did not go out :arrrghhh

Why do management let some offices get out at such ridiculous times ? We’re out anywhere from 7:45-8:45 at our place

A couple of the DOs locally probably don't get their wave 2 before 07:30 based on the final dispatch time from the MC and the distance between the Mc and the DO
