Had a Recorded Delivery.
Placed it in the letterbox, knocked and retreated 2 metres.
Dog snatched it. (Not the first time this has happened)

Absurdly quiet.
Took my time, full break obvs, still finished more than an hour early.
No managers around to ask what to do, so chucked a few D2Ds in and whatnot, then went home. Not had an early dart like that for about a decade.

In a rather unfortunate misspelling a customer named Debussy became Depussy and that made me chuckle for most of my delivery.

Picture this scenario.
Only one person drives FOR ROYALMAIL, so has to do packets in morning while partner throws walk up, now the driver has to do the lapsing in the morning and the packets , how is this fair.

Either the walker takes a couple of extra loops or it doesn’t get done.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Job is killing me. I come home and I'm shattered, need to sleep. I'm not even old yet. Some people do 6 day weeks, some people have 2nd jobs, some people do overtime everyday. I don't know how they do it. Are they money motivated and prob still feel at least as knackered as me, or are they just machines that don't really tire.

You keep posting this and everyone says the same thing - go to your doctor as it sounds like you could have an undiagnosed health issue.norris9 wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 16:54Job is killing me.
