We can speed up the rollout of the update by not testing it... just like all the others.

Some QOL requests.

- Please can it display the current DPR route you are looking it, e.g. 'Adhoc27', in case you forget.
- 'Depart Depot' requires you to hold for 7 seconds. If you just press it no feedback is given to the user, maybe a progress meter on how long left you have to hold it.
- Under no circumstances should an Adhoc manifest created in Indoor containing a bad item silently fail, and cause the route not to appear in Outdoor, requiring bisection of the parcels to identify the problematic parcel. Maybe make the route appear in Outdoor with an exclamation mark icon and when you go into it the problematic parcel has an exclamation mark next to it as well.
- Accidental signing in / out (SISO) is possible, e.g. by pocket pressing. Maybe make this a hold action (with above progress meter feedback).
- Logging in and setting up the device takes way too long.
- Taking a photo with Flash takes way too long.
- Navigation has road names truncated.
- It would be useful for Navigation to display current speed alongside speed limit.
- In Navigation, it's not entirely clear what the red dot, red and white dot and green dot symbolize.
- Allow Battery Saver to be turned on at any point, not just when it reaches 20% due to the Android notification.
- Allow you to display historical MyPerformance data not just a one week window.
- Add a 'All green thumbs up' button to Vehicle Check.
- Display current logged in user username
- Add change password functionality.
- Allow multiple people to number up parcels at the same time (as a feature, not multiple people going on at same time hack).
- Allow manual route reorganisation at any point (drag and drop stops), even in Outdoor. Route optimisation is not perfect.
- Add a scanning of a parcel feature to display its essential information, e.g. address, track and trace.

Thank you for your consideration.

A good thing they could do would be to split the MC stuff and DO stuff into separate apps. Don't know if it would also help if the DO Indoor and DO Outdoor stuff were to also be separate apps.

The best thing they could do with our PDAs is to delete half the cr*p that's on it. I'm sure this is why it often crashes upon logging in and is often egg timing while scanning parcels in.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

A QOL suggestion.
A feature that lets you know if you're missing a parcel when you've finished loading up your van. For example, when using the van loading tool, it will ping if you've missed scanning a parcel. I can't be the only one to misplace an occasional parcel or have a tracked letter hiding in a york & not realizing till you arrive at the property & can't find it in the van.
Of course I could manually check whether all parcels are present before dispatch but having this feature would make it more efficient. :nervous

Just wondering if anyone from RM actually looks at this thread - Postman asked RM to look at this thread about five years ago. Whether they do or not....

Seems bizarre that we have to report faults/suggest improvements on an unofficial chat board due to lack of engagement at shop floor level!
