Good for you. The cracks do start to show eventually, but at the end of the day it’s still enjoyable the majority of the time. Decent money, and decent finish times. Glad you enjoyed your first shift.

You can expect to get a lot more mech going manual without being sequenced now, particularly if the batch that covers your walk is one of the earlier ones run on a CSS machine

Hey, just looking for advice, got back from my round today to find my job advertised! I have been with royal mail for 8 years and on the same duty for 18 months, apparently the duty is vacant!! Even though my days off where changed when I was put on it!!, ?

If you never applied for it, and then won it, the duty I am afraid isn't yours. If you did then you need to speak to a Union rep (if a member).

Made the mistake of looking at the D2Ds for my walk next week. Six boxes. God knows how they'll ever get delivered...

I've just had two weeks with no D2Ds. Thought I was going to go a third, until I got back off delivery and found the small flimsy window cleaning d2d for next week. It is not much bigger than at bank card. I will just stick them in my bag and deliver them has I go round.

Hot and dehydrated. No amount of water seems enough. The manager is being fab though, a loop was taken off so I didn't die (I'm on my 5th day). Grateful but I know it won't last!
