Just got in from working nights. Easily the heaviest night so far in our office.

Worryingly quiet compared to the last two weeks. Bet we get hammered tomorrow!

Some of us (Me) had 4 full boxes of mech today and others only 1...we usually get 2 each so perhaps there is a backlog at the Mail center??

I would rather have 4 on a Friday than a Saturday though!

Saturday.........weirdly quiet! I suppose we'll get murdered this last week - still loads of mail in the boxes. Is it me or do there seem to be more cards this year?

Reckon it'll be busy right through to xmas eve, don't expect to be done on time then either. Still tons of cards and packets were very heavy today. Specials will be on the increase from tomorrow as well. Can remember when xmas eve was a nice flyer of a day.......... Not anymore.

Bloody heavy. Hct full to the top with two bags on the outside completely full! Lots of signed for items and packets with not many people answering. :arrrghhh

Some person has also had a new front door put on with no letterbox! No mail for them! Somebody asked if they've missed the last post dates for second class. I explained the dates and they asked when they will get there if they sent second class. I did say if you post them first class in a postbox today or post office they will get there soon. I'll just send them second class they said.

Some people. :cuppa

Wouldn't go out with any more mail than I could fit in HCT if I were you. If it gets nicked from the bags you are to blame. Tell them they can bring them out to replenish you, or you're leaving them.

Thanks for that. :thumbup

However, one bag on one side was my first loop and the other one was a large amount of packets for the first loop too. Once I locked up they went on my shoulders. I have left the mail before at the office.

Busiest day so far by a mile. Seemed like every 4 or 5 houses needed a signature. PDA kept booting me out :thumbdown
