Brilliant Day today....Just like the old days.......even had a smile on my face as I drove back to the office! :dance

Obviously it's Tuesday but it was nice to actually deliver a Days work as it should be . Having enough time to take a 40 min MR and still get back to the office at the allocated knocking off time. :dance If the job was like this all the time I could soldier on until they turned Hell into a Ski Resort! :Very Happy

Only one small fly in the ointment....Got back to the office on time...... and the yard was full of vans .....and every other bugger had knocked of early! :left: Still had a good day! :thumbup

As above with heavy rain this morning, great fun, trainers filled with newspaper in the vague hope of dry feet tomorrow! :cuppa

Another Tuesday with no work time learning, didn't complete my own duty anything like 30mins early because of this, but at least the lapsing got done inside contract hours.

They gave us"double" absorption today, and told us only to take 1st and 2nd class on the absoption...sounds like "streaming" to me.Thought that was not allowed!
Most of it seems to have come back;they make a big thing of how important the customer is,maybe to us posties but certainly not to management with stunts like today.
Neither Dom or Rep work Saturdays but Dom really seems out to ruin our weekends, still, work to time and only go over if you want.....it is just getting through!

Absolute nightmare all week. My FT partner has gone off sick with depression so instead of coming in at 8:30 to a fully prepped frame except packets, it's been half prepped with no d2ds. Everyone else is bundling up and I'm still throwing in letters for two frames as I don't get a partner until 9:30 most days which is silly. :thumbdown

Ohh, and for the fourth time in a row my Saturday day off has been moved :arrrghhh

Several weeks on one walk has morphed into being pushed from pillar to post and generally pissed about. Drivers are in short supply so it's musical chairs for the unlucky few. I honestly wouldn't let these guys run a bath never mind a d.o.
