Long and hard. 3 packet bags for a solo hct walk! Passed a few of the bigger ones onto the packet driver, even then still had to get trolley topped up for the last 2 loops!

Busy day but did less overtime and got finished a bit earlier. Turned colder today so might have to ditch the shorts soon.

We're already at last Christmas levels of packets, by the time it comes along we're going to need a bigger van, or splitting the van share duty, either way something needs to be done.
Getting 25 yorks of packets means that we're going to have problems delivering within our time, especially when there are only 30 duties in an office.

A certain company who made the headlines with their customer service levels sent a letter to every house in a Saturday. Meant I was out late and as Saturday is a short day didn't do whole duty ☺

Are Wednesdays usually busier than mondays and Tuesdays?

Third day working at royal mail and I absolutely fell apart. More packages then ive ever seen before, nearly a york (i think?) Full of them.
I've been placed with a guy who does the area where I live but he's not a coach. He's marching along at a rapid pace whilst I'm there wondering where the hell the next house is. He's a nice guy and very supportive but I feel like s**t when I'm struggling along. But we still managed to get back before 3.

Managers haven't even took any notice to why I've been placed with someone who isn't a coach/experienced postie and I've been quickly learning how useless management is. So an absolute s**t day for me.

Hang in there! At the end of my second week I could have quite easily chucked it in, but you will get more used to it. Just don't be taken for a mug, only go over if you want to and if you will be paid for it. You've wised up to "management" so you've learnt something very quickly.

Tuesday is often the lightest day, though Monday can be some weeks, Wednesday often the worst though Thursday isn't great, Friday and Saturday vary depending on what the Mail Centre has pushed through.

Smashed with packets.

Rained hard for the first hour and then the sun came out, different day, down to shirt sleeves. :nana
