What work is there for HCT/walking staff to do on a Saturday?

I would think putting d2d’s in is a possibility on a few duties.

I don't think you could resource that as an ongoing duty structure because what would you do when there are few or no D2D?

Agreed but I can’t think of what else there will be to do, other than prepping the none 1st class.

Agreed but I can’t think of what else there will be to do, other than prepping the none 1st class.

The union won’t admit it yet but realistically anyone who doesn’t drive won’t be working any Saturdays in delivery.
Be an almighty kick off from those who drive so probably won’t be confirmed until a week before all this s**t goes live.

I've only ever known of people to be taken off driving duties for medical reasons/disability. Removing themselves to get a better shift pattern would be a very grey area for staff not originally contracted to drive, doing driving on an assumed role.

Well that’s intriguing. If the Saturdays are just first class and parcels in van routes what will non drivers be doing?
Surely not walking a huge area with a Hct?
