Weather is going to be a real test.

Cant see how there can be much mail around unless the mailcenters have been holding back flats. :hmmmm
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Not too bad today. Quite a lot of flats and nearly every house but only 4 packets.

1 packet to knock with, just 1!!!!

Would have been a lot easier if it wasn't for the snow/ice

Famous last words.

Mashed with flats. Called off the ips twice to clear in. Saga, holiday cats, CSMA and sub mags. Managers showed some mercy and rolled 4 yorks of mailsort flats.

We did not have any snow or ice on the ground but rain turned to sleet / snow walking around. Did not last thank god.

Pretty depressing day really with the world still off on hols.

Well we knew it was going to happen didn't we? Wait until Christmas is over and then hit us with Holiday brochures! :arrrghhh

Thanks for all your your hard work lads & lasses here's a "Little" Present for you! They could have at least kept them over until next Monday? However the DOM said "Stream" them as we had to get back early for the Mail Truck, so they were "Streamed" straight into several boxes under the frame...until Monday! :Very Happy Any Area, or District, Manager that would like to check the DO is quite welcome....Oh I forgot they're probably still enjoying their Christmas/New Years break. :no no We'll expect to see them sometime around April just in time to tell us RM is skint and can't afford a decent payrise! :d'oh!

Most ridiculous day I've ever worked in this job. Half of the walk was left on Saturday due to ice, but whoever says the company doesn't hold back mail must be lying because we had a month's worth of catalogues and junk in one day. Even the loops that were cleared last week barely fit in the frame, hasn't been that heavy at all over christmas. Luckily there were almost no packets so once we were out it didn't take long to clear.

Another enjoyable easy day even with lapsing, home early and just been for a half hour massage on my calf muscles and ready to get back into the running in the New Year. :dance
